7. Software
This software has been designed to pick out the pyrometer readings comfortably. Readings
can be shown easily and clear either in a table or further to analyze the data you get the
opportunity to transfer it into a MS-Excel file.
7.1. Installation and how to use
System requirements: Standard PC with Win 98 or higher
Hard disc drive with at least 5 MB free space
The enclosed CD-ROM included under „Software“ means any installation
routine, which will install the software in the chosen language.
The file „Kleiber315K.exe“ is also on the CD and can, should automatic installation is faulty,
will be copied into any directory and on the Explorer or Start-Run called directly.
After installing the program, please refer to software manual or use help (F1) for more
information.
8. Maintenance
8.1. Rechargeable batteries
The rechareable batteries (1.2 V, 2100mAh, NiMH) have to be recharged like in the
manufactueres instructions described. Please note the batteries have to be disposed cor-
responding to local law.
When recharging rechargeable batteries make sure the batteries are in the pyrometer be-
fore connecting the recharger!
Shut down the pyrometer during the recharging process.
8.2. Cleaning
The housing of the thermometer may be cleaned by using a non fluffing cloth with water
and little detergent. To clean the protective glass, the lenses and the grey filter you may use
a non fluffing cloth with ethylalcohol or an optic cleaning cloth.
