Setup interface and fine calibration
Setup interface
The setup interface is available for configuring the transmitter from
a PC. Connection is via the PC interface with TTL/RS232 converter
and adapter. The protective cover must be pushed on again after
programming.
Configurable parameters:
- TAG number (10 characters)
- sensor type
- connection circuit (2-/3-/4-wire circuit)
- external or internal cold junction
- customized linearization
- range limits
- output signal rising/falling (reversed)
- digital filter
- response on probe break/short-circuit
- recalibration (fine calibration)
- lead resistance for 2-wire circuit
If no supply unit (supply isolator) is available, the 2-wire transmitter
can also be configured using a 9V block battery as a power source.
Fine calibration
Fine calibration means the adjustment of the output signal. The sig-
nal can be adjusted within ± 5% of 20mA full scale. Fine calibration
can be performed through the setup program. Values for 4 mA
(zero) and 20 mA (full scale) and offset can be calibrated separately
using the setup program.
