GENERAL USE
The DataLink module is switched on and off using the switch on the front of the module.
The lamp on the end of the module will light when the module is switched on.
The PCMCIA data card must be inserted before the module is switched on and the card
must remain in the card slot during operation, as the card contains data used by the
module during operation.
Push the reset button (K2) should the DataLink module stop functioning.
The lights on the front of the module show the following status:
Light Description
On Lights when the module is switched on.
Data Flashes during communication between the DataLink module and the
LH 5000.
GPS Flashes when a valid GPS signal is received.
It is possible to see the DGPS status on the LH 5000 by pressing the STATUS key:
