Mounting the Adapter Plate
Use the included clamps to mount the adapter plate to the tube frame of your motor scooter (see fig. a).
The clamps should be spaced at least 10cm apart. The clamps should always be arranged in a square.
on other rack systems, e.g. with embedded threads, the adapter plate may also be directly screwed in
(without using clamps) (fig. B). once the adapter plate is mounted you may attach the cover to the plate.
caution!
Be sure to firmly tighten the locknuts. The screws must be completely screwed into the nuts to ensure the
nuts do not loosen during the ride. all 4 screws or clamps must be mounted securely to ensure sufficient
stability. after mounting be sure to check the connection between the adapter plate and the rack!
Latch indicators
The locking mechanism features red indicators on both sides. once the top case locking mechanism is
correctly latched the indicators will be flush with the top case housing and no longer visible. The indica-
tors will remain visible and not flush with the housing until the locking mechanism is correctly latched.
