Connecting the CAM with other Devices
After completing the data transfer, you must disconnect the cable in
the following way.
1. Select the removable disk icon and click the right mouse button to
select ‘Safely Remove Hardware’.
2. Select ‘Stop’ and disconnect the USB cable when the pop-up
screen disappears.

✤ If you disconnect the USB cable from the PC or the CAM during
the data transfer,
the data transfer will stop and the data may be damaged.
✤ If you connect the USB cable to a PC using a USB HUB or with
other device at the same time,
it might cause conflict and may not work properly. If this occurs,
remove all other devices and try the connection again.
✤ The CAM may operates abnormally in the recommended system
environment depending on the assembling of PC.
For example, the video file is played abnormally.
✤ Once you select Mass Storage, PC-Cam or PictBridge, you cannot
change the mode.
Disconnect the USB cable or turn on the CAM again to change the
mode.
✤ If you disconnect the USB cable, the message ‘Now refresh file list’
appears for 1 second.
✤ All operation mentioned on page 107 may not guaranteed in the
system environment.

Camcorder an andere Geräte anschließen
Entfernen Sie das USB-Kabel nach Abschluss der Datenübertragung
auf folgende Art und Weise.
1. Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf das Symbol des
Wechseldatenträgers, und wählen Sie aus dem Kontextmenü die
Option „Safely Remove Hardware” (Hardware sicher entfernen).
2. Wählen Sie „Stop” (Stopp), und entfernen Sie das USB-Kabel,
sobald das Pop-Up-Fenster ausgeblendet wird.

Hinweise
✤ Wenn Sie das USB-Kabel zwischen Camcorder und PC während
der Datenübertragung abziehen,
wird die Datenübertragung abgebrochen. Dabei können Daten
beschädigt werden.
✤ Wenn das USB-Kabel über einen USB-Hub an einen Computer
angeschlossen ist oder gleichzeitig andere USB-Geräte
angeschlossen sind, funktioniert die Verbindung möglicherweise
nicht einwandfrei. Trennen Sie in diesem Fall alle anderen USB-
Geräte vom Computer, und stellen Sie die USB-Verbindung erneut
her.
✤ Abhängig von der Bauart des Computers arbeitet der Camcorder
in der empfohlenen Systemumgebung möglicherweise nicht
einwandfrei. Zum Beispiel können Probleme bei der Wiedergabe
von Videodateien auftreten.
✤ Nachdem Sie Mass Storage (Massenspeicher), PC-Cam (PC-
Kamera) oder PictBridge ausgewählt haben, können Sie den
Modus nicht mehr ändern.
Entfernen Sie das USB-Kabel oder schalten Sie den
CAMCORDER erneut ein, um den Modus zu ändern.
✤ Beim Entfernen des USB-Kabels wird kurzzeitig die Nachricht ‘Now
refresh file list (Dateiliste wird aktualisiert)’ angezeigt.
✤ Es wird keine Garantie übernommen, dass die auf Seite 107
beschriebenen Funktionen in Ihrer Systemumgebung
ordnungsgemäß funktionieren.
