4 Function and application
The DRQD-... is a double-acting double piston
rotary drive. When compressed air is applied
alternately to one connection and then to the
other, the two parallel pistons move back-
wards and forwards in opposite directions to
each other. The linear movement is converted
into a rotary movement of the drive output
shaft by means of a pinion.
The end position cushioning is carried out
with elastic cushioning elements.
The DRQD-... rotary drive is intended for turning a work load which must perform a
defined angular movement (
≤ 180 °).
5 Conditions of use

Malfunctioning may occur as a result of incorrect handling.
S Observe the following instructions for the correct and safe use of the prod-
uct.
S Compare the specified limit values with
your actual application.
The permitted limit values, e.g. for pres-
sures, forces, torques, masses, speeds
and temperatures must not be exceeded.
S Ensure that there is a supply of correctly
prepared compressed air.
S Observe the prevailing ambient condi-
tions.
