1. 4 Unscrew the cover screws on the DC
junction box 40 / 60
2. Remove the cover
3. Remove the breather plug (1)
4. Insert PG 16 screw joint into the
opening
The PG 16 screw joint is not included
in the ‘Grounding Kit Fronius IG’
installation set.
1. Remove the two screws from each of
the terminal holders (1), (3) and (7)
2. Slide the terminal holder (1) and DC+
terminals (2) to the left
3. Slide components (4) - (7) to the right
4. Remove the terminal holder (3)
WARNING! Work performed incorrectly can cause serious injury and damage.
The following activities must only be carried out by qualified electricians!
Adhere to the safety rules in the operating instructions of the inverter and the
operating instructions of the DC junction box.
Always install the ‘Grounding Kit Fronius IG’ in the DC junction box before
connecting the DC junction box and the inverter.
