The appliance is not
working.

or

The Power control lamp 0
does not light up.

The appliance is not connected
to a mains power socket.

Connect the appliance to
a mains power socket.

The appliance is damaged.

Contact the Customer
Service department.

The On/Off switch 8 has not
been activated.

Press the On/Off switch 8.

The thermal cut-out has been
triggered.

Switch the device off at
the On/Off switch 8 and
disconnect the mains power
plug from the mains power
socket. Wait until the appli-
ance has cooled down.

The Ready control lamp 9
does not light up.

The selected temperature for
the cooking oil/fat has not
been reached.

Wait a few minutes until the
required temperature has
been reached.

If the malfunction cannot be corrected with the above suggestions, or if you have found some
other kind of malfunction, please contact our Customer Service department.

Appendix

Disposal of the appliance

Under no circumstances should you dispose of the appliance in
normal household waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or your
municipal waste disposal facility. Please observe applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.

With regard to conformity with essential requirements and
other relevant provisions, this appliance complies with the
guidelines of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive
2004/108/EC, the Directive for Low Voltage Appliances
2006/95/EC and the ERP Directive 2009/125/EC.
