Removing the AT-PWR5
To remove a power supply, follow these steps:

Power cord is used as a disconnection device: To de-energize
equipment, disconnect the power cord.

1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the two screws from the installed AT-PWR5. See Figure 3.
3. Replace the Blank Plate and secure it with the two screws.
Note
Do not remove the panel covering the expansion slot for the
AT-PWR5 unit unless you intend to install the unit.
Verifying the Installation
To verify the installation of your AT-PWR5, follow these steps:
1. Verify that the MAIN LED is a steady green, indicating that the meida
converter is receiving power from the main power supply.
2. Verify that the BCKP LED is a steady green, indicating that the media
converter is receiving power from the optional redundant power supply.
3. Check to be sure that the fans for the main power supply and the optional
redundant power supply are operating.
The media converter is now ready for normal network operations. For
information on operating the AT-PWR5 and on the Power LEDs, refer to the
next section, “Operating the AT-PWR5.”
