2 Getting to know the device
2.1 Description
AccuDrive is an economic system for mobile motive shaft positioning. Shaft
alignment to the desired format is realized quickly, accurately and less difficult
operations by hand wheels. The electrically commutated professional power
tool ASMIR communicates with N 153 and N 143 spindle position displays by
a special infrared-interface providing ASMIR with the control signals for cw
and ccw rotation as well as for highspeed, slowspeed gear and stop.
During the positioning procedure the operator is guided by a two-colour LED
(red / green) provided at the position displays. The LEDs indicate the operator
both the current alignment status as well as the shaft positioning order.
