4 Instructions for positioning/format alignments
➜
Dock the charged battery to the power tool (fig. 5).
Select the required format profile at the control for transmission of
relevant position data to the respective position displays. The value will
appear on the display as target. Status LEDs indicate the operator the
current shaft alignment status.
●
Red continuous: Shaft requires new positioning.
Green continuous: Current value is in alignment with target, no positio-
ning operation required.
➜
Release the positioning sequence by a command at the control. After
command transmission and according to the positioning order, the status
LED of the first position display is flashing alternately red and green.
Now the 1st shaft is ready for positioning.
➜
Dock the power tool to the first shaft. Press and hold the ON switch (fig.
4) of the power tool. The N 153 or N 143 position display transmits a
coded signal indicating the positioning direction. The signal is received by
a special receiver (fig. 3) at the power tool and decoded.
Positioning operation less loop:
The power tool accelerates to maximum rotation speed „highspeed gear“.
Prior to reaching the target it will go to “slowspeed gear”. Upon reaching the
target the power tool stops automatically.
Positioning operation with loop:
The power tool proceeds a shaft tolerance compensation, i.e. the target is ex-
ceeded by the parameter “SPIEL” . Then, after a short break, the power tool
will aim at the target and head for it from reverse direction.
Automatic stop:
As soon as the target position is achieved the power tool stops automatically.
The status LED at the position display changes to green.
➜
Now release the ON switch (fig. 4).
Note: The positioning operation is immediately interrupted by releasing the
ON switch (fig. 4).
●
Positioning of further shafts:
Following the shaft positioning order the status LED of the position dis-
play that is next starts flashing red and green.
➜
Now dock the power tool to the next shaft, press and hold again the ON
switch. Proceed as with shaft no. 1, etc.
