⇒ Only use the device indoors, to protect it from lightning, rain and solar radiation. The
device should only be installed in rooms where the permitted ambient temperature
range can be maintained even when the climatic conditions change (excluding radiated
heat and other sources of heat).
⇒ The device should not be exposed to spray or water droplets.
⇒ Do not place any objects filled with water on the device.
⇒ Do not place any burning objects such as candles on the device.
⇒ Only mount on vertical surfaces.
⇒ Ensure that the ventilation slits are not covered by objects such as newspapers,
tablecloths, curtains etc.
⇒ Ensure the device has good ventilation.
⇒ If condensation should form, wait until the device is completely dry.
To be observed in all situations:
⇒ DIN VDE regulations 0701, sections 1 and 200.
⇒ EN 50 083 - section 1 “Cabled distribution systems for television and sound signals”
Section 1: Safety requirements.
⇒ The device is only to be opened by authorised specialists (certified experts).
⇒ Ensure that only replacement parts recommended by the manufacturer or parts that
are of a construction identical to the originals are used. Use of unsuitable spare parts
can cause further damage to the device.
