In order to find which DIN / USB port a Streichfett Syn-
thesizer is connected to, you can use MIDI identity re-
quest and reply messages. Open all in ports and cycle
through every out port sending identity requests and
waiting for potential replies.

Once you get a specific Streichfett identity reply mes-
sage, you also get the in / out ports combination connec-
ted to the synthesizer.
It is also possible to retrieve the internal software revision
within the identity reply message.
