Introduction / Safety

due to improper handling or failure to comply with
the safety instructions!

ATTENTION!

Do not look into the operating LEDs from close by.

Do not look at the LEDs with an optical instru-
ment (e.g. magnifying glass).

The LED lights cannot be replaced.

Do not operate the light strip whilst rolled up
or in the packaging.

Do not trim or connect the LED strip to other
LED strips.

Avoid the risk of fatal injury
from electric shock

Check the LED strip for damage before every
use. Never use the LED strip if any damage is
detected.

CAUTION! A damaged mains adapter poses
a danger to life by electric shock. In the event
of damage, repairs or other problems with the
mains adapter or LED strip, please contact the
service centre or a qualified electrician.

Before use, ensure that the available mains
voltage is the same as the operating voltage of
the mains adapter (220–240 V∼).

Never allows the live power leads and con-
tacts to come into contact with water or other
liquids.

Never open or plug objects into the electrical
equipment. This will pose a risk of fatal injury
from electric shock.

Protect the product from sharp edges, mechani-
cal loads and hot surfaces.

Do not secure with sharp staples or nails.

Always unplug the mains adapter before
installation, removal or cleaning.

Never touch the mains adapter or the LED strip
with wet hands.

The mains adapter is splash-proof (IP44). This
protection class will only be maintained, if the
electrical socket used also complies with at
least this protection class.

Be sure not to pierce electrical lines or other
obstructions during installation.

To prevent hazards, a damaged lead must be
replaced by the manufacturer or a professional.

When installing on outdoor flooring, protect
the feeder cable from damage (passing over,
etc.).

Prevent fire and
injury hazards

This product does not contain any parts that
can be serviced by the user. The bulbs cannot
be replaced.

Battery safety information

DANGER TO LIFE!

Batteries are not intended for children. If acci-
dentally swallowed seek immediate medical
attention.

CAUTION! EXPLOSION
HAZARD!

Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries
and do not short-circuit and/or open any
batteries.

Never throw batteries into fire or water.

Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries.

If you do not observe these instructions, the
battery could be discharged beyond the cut-off
voltage. There is then a danger of leaking. If a
battery has leaked, please remove it instantly
from the appliance to avoid damage.

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. In the event of contact with bat-
tery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area
with clean water and seek immediate medical
attention.

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and
temperatures, e.g. above radiators.as they may
affect batteries.

Remove the battery from the device if it is not
going to be used for a prolonged period.

Only use the specified battery type!
