Operation and function
Basic functions 6.3.
The basic functions of the positioner are implemented at the factory.
Once the device DTMs are activated, the basic functions can be adapted user-specifically:
Define the device identification •
Transfer parameters (see Chapter “ • 6.3.2. Transferring Parameters“)
Parameterization of functions (see Chapter “ • 6.3.3. Parameterization“).
Activation of device dTms 6.3.1.
The DTM window is used for device identification, defining the basic settings, and parameterization of the device.
The window can be activated as follows:
Double click on the required DTM in the project window or •
Right click and select “Parameters” or •
With the PACTware “Device / Parameters” menu item. •
