Maintenance instructions
To maintain the safe function and high quality, the clamping device must be
maintained regularly.
Make sure that the clamping device is sufficiently lubricated at all times.
The lubrication is usually done via funnel-type lubricating nipples, central lubrication,
oiled purge air or continuous lubrication.
For lubrication via:
 funnel-type lubricating nipples, lubricating oil (ISO VG 220 DIN 51519) or
grease (NLGI – Class 000 or Class 00) is to be fed to the clamping device via
the funnel-type lubricating nipples at regular intervals (at least once a week).
 central lubrication or oiled purge air, lubricating oil (ISO VG 220 DIN 51519)
or grease (NLGI – Class 000 or Class 00) is to be fed to the clamping device
(at least every 3-4 hours).
 continuous lubrication, the clamping device is to be disassembled at regular
intervals (at least every 6 months) and furnished with a new continuous
lubrication system. Lubricant: Lubricating oil ISO VG 220 DIN 51519 or grease
NLGI – Class 000 or Class 00.
The clamping device must be cleaned and lubricated at regular intervals (in
accordance with contamination level).
