Function Test
f Close safety guard.
Start the machine.
Machine must stop immediately when the safety
guard is opened!
f Switch machine off.
Open the safety guard.
The machine must not start when the safety guard
is open!
Maintenance and Inspection
In the event of damage or wear and tear, the
damaged system component must be replaced.
Regularly remove iron shavings on the read head
and actuator.
Only use solvent-free detergents for cleaning the
actuators and read heads!

The dimensions of the actuators are the same as those of the
read heads, although the former have no connection cable.

Regular inspection of the following is necessary
to ensure trouble-free long-term operation:
f Perfect switching function
f Secure attachment of the components
f Loose connections.
f A function test should be performed at least once
per year.
Shorter intervals may be necessary depending
on the specific application.
Note:The year of manufacture can be seen in the
bottom, right corner of the rating plate.
