1 About this document

Battery disposal
Do not dispose the batteries together with
household waste!
Ask your local waste authority.
Observe the operating and installation instructions of the
respective encoder. Improper programming might entail dys-
functions and system downtime.
2 Scope of delivery
• 1 x Handheld Programming Tool Z-PA-EI-H
• 2 x Alkaline batteries 1,5 V Mignon (AA)
Adaptor cables (connecting cables) are available under
„Accessories“.
3 Product description
Handheld Z-PA-EI-H is for programming compatible incremental
encoders and must not be used for any other purpose (correct
use to the intended purpose).
Information on programmable parameters is provided in the data
sheet of the respective encoder.
The Handheld is a stand-alone-programming tool. Any PC/note-
book and mains supply is not required.

2 Lieferumfang
• 1 x Handheld Programming Tool Z-PA-EI-H
• 2 x Alkali-Batterien 1,5 V Mignon (AA)
Adapterkabel für Drehgeber mit Flanschdose (Verbindungskabel)
bestellbar, siehe „Zubehör“.
3 Produktbeschreibung
Das Handheld Z-PA-EI-H dient zum Auslesen und Programmie-
ren kompatibler, inkrementaler Drehgeber und darf nur zu diesem
Zweck verwendet werden (bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung).
Die programmierbaren Parameter können dem Datenblatt des
jeweiligen Drehgebertypen entnommen werden.
Die Programmierung mit dem Handheld ist autark. Es ist kein PC/
Laptop und Netzanschluss erforderlich.
