If this additional fastener is used, it will
not be possible to remove the device
by pulling it out vertically from the
self-adhesive magnetic holder (I) ma-
king it remarkably difficult to remove it
(protection from theft).
Use this material in addition to the
material described in (I) only if you
are absolutely sure that the device has
to be installed long-term and removal
from the magnetic holder described in
I) is not required, thus giving the device
the best possible protection from unau-
thorised removal (e.g. theft).
Please note that to remove the device
attached this way with the additional fas-
tening material will require considerab-
le effort! Disassembly of the device will
be time-consuming and can also lead to
damages to the device and the installati-
on base, for which we will not assume any
responsibility.
Important note:
If you are planning to attach the smoke
alarm device with radio link with this
additional material, never use this ma-
terial before setting up the radio group
described below, since otherwise pro-
blem-free commissioning of the smoke
alarm device with radio link and setting
up of a radio group will be consider-
ably difficult and may even become
impossible!
Use only the provided adhesive for sti-
cking the device. The place of installati-
on must be firm, dry and free of grease,
dust and loose sections etc.
