10. Notes for mounting and operating in

hazardous areas

In hazardous areas, only use temperature transmitters that are

approved for those hazardous areas. The approval is marked on the

product label.

When connecting them to other devices or component, observe the

connection requirements regarding explosion protection, such as

maximum admissible voltage, power or load with capacitances (see

chapter 10.2 “Specific conditions for safe use”).

The following information is based mainly on the EC type examination

certificate, Certification No. BVS 08 ATEX E 019 X.

The nominal electrical values for the head and the rail versions are

identical.

For T32.xS.0IS: The intrinsically safe sensor circuit (optional 2-wire,

3-wire or 4-wire configuration) for both versions is intended for the

supply of equipment in areas with 1G or 1D requirements.
