Important notes

Danger!

Dangerous voltage
All power terminals remain live for at least three minutes after mains
disconnection.
Possible consequences:

ƒ

Death or severe injuries when touching the power terminals.

Protective measures:

ƒ

Wait for at least three minutes before working on the power terminals.

ƒ

Check that all power terminals are deenergised.

{

Danger!

ƒ

The X10, X21 and X20 power connector contacts can conduct hazardous
voltages if the frequency inverter is connected to the mains. Therefore,
disconnect the frequency inverter before carrying out any work on it.

ƒ

All control terminals feature only basic insulation (single isolating distance)
after the connection of a PTC thermistor (PTC) or a thermal switch
(NC contact):
– Protection against accidental contact with defective isolating distance can

only be ensured through external measures, e.g. double insulation.

ƒ

To avoid injury to persons and breakdowns, it is essential that the device is
properly earthed via X10!

{

Danger!

Dangerous voltage
The leakage current to earth (PE) is > 3.5 mA AC or > 10 mA DC.
Possible consequences:

ƒ

Death or severe injuries when the device is touched in the event of a fault.

Protective measures:

ƒ

Implement the actions required in the EN 61800−5−1. Especially:
– Fixed installation
– PE connection must conform to standards (PE conductor diameter

³ 10 mm

2

or PE conductor must be connected twice)
