Installation
The add-on HK-Controller 20 is installed between the keyboard and a compatible
G&D device.
Connect the compatible G&D device, the keyboard and the power pack to the inter-
faces listed below.
Control Panel: Connect the D-Sub25 plug of the assembled panel.
Keyboard: Connect the keyboard plug to the USB or PS/2 interface.
G&D device: Use the supplied PS/2 or USB connection cable to connect this interface
and the PS/2 or USB keyboard interface of the compatible G&D device.
Service: With this socket, you can operate the setup menu (see page 5 ff.) and update
the firmware. During operation, there is usually no cable connected to this interface.
Power: Connect the cable of the power pack to this interface. Now connect the
power cable with the power pack and a power socket.
ADVICE: Instead of using the power pack, you can also supply power by using the
PS/2 and USB interface by connecting both G&D device interfaces to the compati-
ble G&D device.
NOTE: Alternatively to using a power pack, you can also use the PS/2 and/or
USB interface(s) to supply the device with power.
To use the PS/2 or USB interfaces, connect one or both
G&D device interface(s) to
the compatible G&D device.
Using high-quality cables allows for lengths up to three metres. The blinking
Power LED highlights an instable power supply via PS/2 and/or USB cable. In
this case connect the supplied portable power pack to the device.
