Programming key actions

After installing the add-on, you can program the key actions that are sent to the

compatible G&D device when pressing a button.

You can program the key actions with the connected PS/2 or USB keyboard as well

as the supplied software

.

How to program the key actions of a panel button:
1. Press

Hotkey+Scroll Lock

(standard:

Alt Gr+Scroll Lock

) to start the programming

mode.

The device’s status LED and the keyboard’s Scroll Lock LED blink fast.

2. Press the panel button you want to program.

The device’s status LED and the keyboard’s Scroll Lock LED flash periodically.

3. Use the keyboard to enter the key actions you want to save.

4. Finish programming by pressing the panel button again.

The device’s status LED lights and the keyboard’s Scroll Lock LED is off.

5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to program the key actions of another panel button.

Operation

After programming the add-on, you can press a panel button to send the key actions

to the compatible G&D device.

NOTE:

The operation of the software

HK-20 Button Configurator

is described in a sep-

arate manual provided on the supplied CD.

NOTE:

You can program 250 key actions for each panel button. Pressing or releas-

ing a button is stored as separate key action.

ADVICE:

You can add one (or several) 0.5 second pauses between the key actions.
