Activate the standalone mode:
The standalone mode is activated in the menu: DMX/STANDALONE
independent if it was programmed manually or by a connected DMX board.

3.5 Compressed Mode
In order to operate the VaryLED with less DMX-channels you can change the
DMX-Mode of the VaryLED to

colour macro, colour wheel, pan/tilt speed, effect speed and blackout move are
deactivated.

3.6 Camera Mode
For flicker free recording in TV-studios the VaryLED 3*84 offers two different modes
from 50Hertz (PAL, Secam) to 60 Hertz (NTSC). Access the menu point
and confirm it with “Enter”. Push “+” three times, the display will show
