5.13 Replacing the PCB
Unplug the power cable!
1. Open the cover.
2. Disassemble the chassis.
3. Carefully remove all cables from the PCB using a
screwdriver if necessary.
4. Remove the two screws from the Centronics
connector.
5. Loosen the three screws of the heat sink and the screw
of the PCB.
6. Tighten the new PCB following the reverse order and
connect cable according to Figure 26.
7. Check the connections of all cables on the PCB as well
as the PCB and the Centronics connector.
8. Adjust as follows:
- the label edge sensor;
- the ribbon sensor;
- Enter the printhead resistance value again via the
Gemini 2 Control Panel.
Be sure to reconnect the ground wire
to the cover!
9. Reassemble the casing and the cover.
5.13 Wechsel Leiterplatte
Netzstecker ziehen!
1. Deckel öffnen.
2. Gehäuse demontieren.
3. Alle Stecker auf der Leiterplatte vorsichtig abziehen/
abhebeln (Schraubendreher).
4. 2 Schrauben der Centronicsbefestigung abschrauben.
5. 3 Schrauben im Kühlblech der Leiterplatte und 1
Schraube auf der Leiterplatte herausdrehen.
6. Neue Leiterplatte in umgekehrter Reihenfolge
festschrauben und Kabel nach Bild 26 aufstecken.
7. Festen Sitz aller Stecker auf der Leiterplatte und die
Befestigung von Leiterplatte und Centronics-Stecker
prüfen.
8. Folgende Abgleiche durchführen:
- Abgleich Etikettenlichtschranke
- Abgleich Transferbandlichtschranke
- Neueingabe Druckkopf-Widerstandswert über das
Gemini 2 Control Panel.
Achten Sie auf die ordnungsgemäße
Erdungsverbindung des Gehäuses!
9. Gehäuse und Deckel festschrauben.
