4.1 Installation of the pressure regulator
Before installing the pressure regulator, open all taps, etc., to completely
empty the piping and leave no air in the system.
To simplify maintenance, install shut-off valves before and after the
regulator.
ATTENTION!
Observe the flow direction.
NOTE The pressure regulator may be installed in the piping either
horizontally or vertically.
It should not, however, be installed upside down.
Close the shut-off valve on the output side.
Set the desired pressure with the knob (factory setting: 3 bar).
NOTE For the preset function, installation of the manometer on the
output side is not absolutely necessary.
Install the pressure regulator.
After installation, the internal mechanism automatically regulates the pressure
until it reaches the preset value.
Now open slowly the shut-off valve on the output side.
