Calculate the required flow rate (Gp) by multiplying the total flow rate
(Gtot) by the correction factor (see table for simultaneous use).
Example:
Gp = Gtot . %factor
Gp = 81 l/min · 41 % = 33 l/min
From Diagram 1 (see 2.3.1 Flow velocity), select the regulator size
matching the flow velocity.
NOTE The size of regulator should be chosen such that the flow
velocity in the piping is limited to 1 - 2 m/s.
2.4.3 Recommended flow rate
In the table below are to be found the water flow rate for each size of pres-
sure regulator for a recommended flow velocity of 1.7 m/s according to the
standard EN 1567.
