Intended Use
Observe the instructions and operating conditions given
in
this operating manual and the admissible data as specifi ed
in the “Technical Data” of this manual, in the data sheet and on
the rating plate so that the device functions correctly and remains
serviceable in the long term.
Failure to observe this information and unauthorised inference with
the device releases us from all liability and voids the guarantees
applicable to the devices and accessories!
The device serves exclusively as a 3/2-way, or 5/2-way solenoid valve
for the admissible media specifi ed in this manual. Use in any other way
does not constitute an intended use. Bürkert accepts no liability for any
damage or injury resulting from such use. The user bears all risks.
WARNING!
When planning the applications for device and
during operation, observe the relevant generally ack-
nowledged safety engineering rules. Take suita-ble
measures to prevent unintentional operation or in-
admissible damage. Note that lines and valves must
not be loosened on pressurised systems. Always
switch off the power before opening the system!

Work on the valve may only be carried out by specia-
list personnel using appropriate tools!

In potentially explosive areas the equipment may
only be operated using suitable, intrinsically safe
operating equipment.
WARNING!
Risk of injury! The coil may become very hot during
continuous operation.
WARNING!
Pneumatic amplifi er and terminal box must not be
disassembled in the fi eld!
The valve may only be repaired in the factory!
