WIKA Operating Instructions HYDRA-Dry

Pressure Transducer
HYDRA-Dry

1. Safety instructions

Please observe the relevant national safety instructions
for mounting, installation and operation of these pressure
gauges (ex.: VDE 0100) as well as the advice in these operating
instructions. Failure to do this may result in serious injury or
damage. Only qualified personnel should operate or maintain
these instruments.

2. Product description

HYDRA-Dry is an electronic pressure transducer with an ultra-
pure-ceramic capacitive sensor. This sensor is isolated from the
process media by a vented three layer PFA Diaphragm assembly
which is an approved and patented HYDRA-technology thus
providing improved protection from diffusion. All wetted parts are
made of PFA or TFM (modified PTFE). Final assembly, calibration
and packing is effected under Laminar-Flow Class 100.
For more information see data sheet SP 99.22

3. Permissible ambient and working conditions

Permissible ambient temperature: +5 ... +60°C (+41 … +140°F)

Permissible process temperature: +5 ... +60°C (+41 … +140°F)

Permissible storage temperature: -20 ... +60°C (-4 …

+140°F)

Maximum rated pressure and temperature of the process
connection according to following chart must not be exceeded.
The resulting maximum working pressure might be lower than
the instrument's measuring range.
