Connection of the sensor (terminal 1 to 3)

For the following values for voltage, current and power in accordance

with the temperature class of the respective hazardous area, the

connected sensor must not warm up inadmissibly.

Do not connect the programming unit to a T24 if the T24 is located

in a hazardous area.

The external wiring shall be suitable for the maximum ambient

temperature range (max. 85 °C) of the end use application. The

minimum cross section for external wiring is 0.14 mm².

Ex ic applications:

The model T24.10.xx9 temperature transmitter must be installed

in a Pollution Degree 2 environment (or better) in the end use

application, within an enclosure with a minimum of IP 20, provided

by end user.

Ex nA or nL applications:

The model T24.10.xx9 temperature transmitter must be installed

in a Pollution Degree 2 environment (or better) in the end use

application, within an enclosure with a minimum of IP 54, provided

by end user.
