• The esp-10 single impact tester is
dedicated to test single- or multi
layer coatings.
Plane panels with a thickness of
0.7 - 1 mm are used for the test.
In case of misuse no warranty will
be garanted for damages to
persons or objects.
• Place the test panel on the
support (3) with the test surface
down. Place the weight (4) on the
test panel.
• Briefly press down both lateral
release levers (6) at the same
time.
• The impact counter (5) records
every impact of the impact tool.
The operational life of the impact
tool is approx. 1,000 impacts. It
must then be exchanged.
5. Procedure of the
Chipping Test
• The esp-10 is not siutable for
substrates other than the
recommended metal panels.
No glass or comparable materials
are to be used due to a serious
risk of insury by sliver and
breakage.
