• Disconnect the instrument from
the compressed-air supply.
• Remove the 4 cross-head rear
panel screws.
• Slightly tilt the raer panel with
holder backwards and remove it
by carefully pulling it up and
guiding it beyound the
counterweight.
• Remove the counterweight from
the panel support.
• Loosen the 2 screws below the
panel support using a metric 2.5
mm hexagon socket screw key.
• Carefully raise and remove the
panel support so that the spring
and the impact tool lie bare on the
guide tube.
• Carefully remove the impact tool
and the spring.
• Hold the instrument upside-down
in order to remove the ball from
the guide tube.
7. Replacing the
Impact Tool
• Check the ball for any defects.
Then put the ball back in the
guide tube or replace it
respectively.
• Put the spring in place.
• Check the impact tool for any
defects and replace it if
necessary.
• Put the impact tool in place.
• Re-assemble all other parts in
reverse order.
