Setting the CDS mouse speed
With active CrossDisplay Switching (CDS), the mouse speed is not controlled by the
operating system of the computers that can be switched via CDS but by the KVM
switch.
If the cursor on the active monitor moves too fast or too slow, you can adjust the
speed in the setup menu of the KVM switch.
How to change the mouse speed:
NOTE:
When actively switching between computers via
CrossDisplay-Switching
, the
mouse speed only applies to computers configured for the use of CDS.

1. Use the terminal emulator to establish a connection to the KVM switch.
Now plug the serial data cable into the service socket.
2. Use the
Arrow
or
Arrow
keys to select
CrossDisplay-Switching Mouse Speed
.
3. Press the
Space
key (repeatedly) to set the mouse speed.
4. Choose any value between
1
(slow) and
10
(fast).
5. Press
S
to save your settings.
