2 Installation
The HardBoot CCX has a serial interface. It can be used in combination with
a CATCenter to switch eight IEC plug sockets. By connecting up to 16
HardBoot CCX slaves the system can be expanded to control up to 128 plug
sockets.
The G&D KVM switch CATCenter provides control of the slaves via a serial
(RS232) interface. Up to 128 power outlets can be controlled by cascading up
to 16 slaves.
2.1 Presentation of the Front Panel Elements
The following elements are located on the front panel of the HardBoot CCX:
LEDs:
A = PowerSupply A
B = PowerSupply B
1 – 8 = Statuses of the outputs
RJ12 interfaces:
Interfaces for cascading the
system
SUB-D9F interface
Interface for connecting to the
CATCenter
DIP-switches:
1 - 4 = Physical address of the
device
5 – 6 = xBus termination
