sequence you select may not be longer than
60 seconds but also not longer than then
background scene. The background scene
limits the maximum scene length. If is longer
than the moving background scene, it will
be shortened at the end automatically. If the
background scene is longer, the sequence in
the button will simply repeat itself until the
end of the running time of the background
scene.
If you are using the `Colour/Pattern´ type,
you will access the Image Pool instead.
Under the button `Selection´, `Film´ allows
you to choose the button content. If you are
using additionally added buttons, you can
change the button assignment, but not for
automatically added ones however.
`Size´: The tow new options are ´Free´ and `like
original´. You can use ´Free´ in order to be
able to pull the frame of the button and pull
it to any size you wish. If it was previously
set to `small´, `middle´ or `large´, pulling the
frame of the button will automatically set it to
`Free´. With the option `Like original´, which
is only available for the button type `Colour/
Pattern´, you can use the predefined size.
This is particularly useful when working with
predefined button elements or arrows.

7.6 Button text

In Arabesk 3, this menu was called `Chapter
Texts
´. This is also the menu that contains the
settings that were previously found in `Film text
attributes´ in Arabesk 3.

In addition, the button text can now be displayed
any position in multiple text lines. A further,
individual text position can be chosen using
`Position´. Note that positioning using the
`Position ´ function can be reset by selecting the
arrows under `Position`.

7.7 Button Border

This menu was called `Borders´ in Arabesk 3.
There are no changes here.

7.8 Button shadow

This menu was called `Shadow´ in Arabesk 3.
There are no changes here. However, note that
the shadow blur effect for button elements is
only supported from Smart Edit 6.2 and higher.
The buttons for blur are ghosted (not available)
if you are using older Smart Edit versions.

7.9 Button activation

This menu was called `Active Borders´ in
Arabesk 3.
`Highlighting´: Is used to determine in which
fashion a button is highlighted in the menu
when pressed. Is the button to be framed or the
text underlined, or should the content of the
button (or text) be marked? In comparison with
Arabesk 3, the selection of colour for activating
a button can also have a translucency, so that
completely filled out buttons can still be seen.
This type of translucent display is however
currently not supported by the Arabesk internal
player and can only be seen on an external
stand-alone DVD player.
