5.19.4 Configurati on
The multiplexer is configured by On Screen Menu. Refer to the corresponding manual for an explanation of the
various configuration items.
The multiplexer should be configured for RS485 type communication, with an appropriate identification address
and baud rate.
5.19.4.1 OSM Configu ration
Connect the multiplexer directly to the keyboard and a monitor to the MONITOR 1 output.

The multiplexer shows the on screen menu; the keyboard display indicates the mode change:

: increase and decrease the selected value
start and end of the configuration
equivalent to the NEXT key
equivalent to the BACK key
exits the special mode of configuration

5.19.5 Dedicated F unctions
As well as the normal procedure for selecting input videos, the Sanyo multiplexer is provided with numerous
other functions that are activated by pressing key combinations corresponding to the keys on the multiplexer’s
local keypad.
The
key is used to change the number of the unit responding to the command.
