1. Installation
x The ladders are supplied in different versions. The distinguishing
features are the different lengths and widths of the rail and the per-
manently installed frames and couplings.
x The ladders are supplied with borings in the corresponding hole
pattern on the tractor. The borings must be correctly aligned.
x The ladder is fastened with 4-8 bolts M 20 x180 mm and quality 10.9.
x The bolts must be tightened with the specified tightening torque of
610 Nm and with washers.
x Das Lösen der Muttern an den Spannbolzen ist normalerweise
nicht notwendig.
x It is normally not necessary to loosen the nuts at the tensioning
bolts.
x If the borings of the ladder are not aligned with the borings on the
rear of the tractor, then: Loosen the outer nuts on just one side by
about & of a turn, fit the ladder to the rear of the tractor; screw in
the fastening bolts but do not tighten.
x Then tighten the nuts of the tensioning bolts at 230 Nm and the
fastening bolts at the at the rear of the tractor at 610 Nm tightening
torque.
In the versions 880 C/889C and 880 K/889K with permanently
installed piton or ball, tighten the cylinder bolts M16 at 230 Nm.
Make sure that all nuts and bolts are correctly tightened.
Replace loose bolts with new ones.
Observe the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer.
