Checking and setting the limit positions

For 3-position actuators not adjusted at the factory, microswitches S3 and
S4 must be pressed with a tool (screwdriver) while voltage is applied.

Pull out the microswitch's Lumberg plug on the lower conductor plate.

Setting of limit switches as for the 2-position regulator.

Plug in the microswitch's Lumberg plug on the lower circuit board.

Rotate S3 tripping cam in opposite direction until S3 switches. S3 and S4
are pressed in centre position.

S4 switches motor off

prematurely

S4 doesn't switch yet

Turn tripping cam in the opposite

direction of rotation until desired limit

position can be reached.

Turn tripping came in same direction, un til

S4 just switches off.

Setting the centre position

Press microswitches S3 and S4 using a tool.

Drive to assigned limit position by applying L1 to the motor via S1.

Release S4 and apply L1 to motor via S4. Rotary actuator runs in direction
of centre position.

Switch off motor when desired centre position is reached.

NOTE

With additional limit switches the micro switches serve S5 and
S8 for the position response.
For mechanical reasons, the limit switch is not just operated by
the cam at one point but across an area. If the response only
occurs at one point, two additional limit switches are required
for the respective overlap.
