Detection of connected LECOM drives
Tip!
If you want to reduce the time required for automatically finding all drives connected to the bus, enter
the maximum number of drives under
Number of drives to be found.
1. Click the button
Search to start the search.

The progress of the search is indicated in a dialog box.

If the number of drives entered under
Number of drives to be found have been found, a
box is displayed which asks the user whether the search is to be continued or not.
The drives found are listed as configuration entry below the COM interface:
Tip!
The LECOM configuration tool automatically creates several OPC items for every drive. It is thus
possible for the DriveServer to detect the drive automatically.
•
For special applications, more OPC items can be added manually. In general however the
DriveServer creates the OPC items.

Exit to end the LECOM configuration tool.
