The Speaker Type panel:
This panel serves to select speaker datasets for outputs A-D. You can select any filter available in
the HK audio program. If you want to narrow down the selection, you can have only the filters for a
specific family of speakers displayed. However, a list of all filters will appear in the SPEAKER TYPE
field when ALL is selected in the SPEAKER FAMILY selection box. Click a filter in the list to load it. It
will also be shown in a separate view below the selection window called SEL. SPEAKER.
You can also save the four FIRNET outputs‘ assignments using the Scratchpad. The Scratchpad is
permanent rather than volatile, so it will retain and show these assignments the next time you start
the program.
To save the current output assignments, simply select a preset slot from the list and then click
WRITE.
A dialog box appears prompting you to indicate the speaker family and a name for this assignment.
The current output assignments are also shown. If you wish, you can edit these assignments before
saving them. The name given to these assignments here also appears in the Scratchpad list.
To access stored output assignments, select a name in the list and click READ. The four outputs‘
speaker filters will reflect the stored assignments.
