2.3 The Program window
A splash screen appears briefly after you launch the software. Then a window that looks like this will
show up on your screen:
The Program window features a menu bar, a toolbar affording instant access to key functions much
like those found in most other applications, and three main panels.
Panel 1:
Network window: This view shows devices that are physically present in the network. It provides
basic information about each device such as its name, IP address and network status.
Panel 2:
System window: This view shows the system‘s configuration. It is much like the tree that lists folders
in Windows Explorer. All groups and the position of the devices within the group configuration are
shown and can be edited here, online as well as offline.
Panel 3:
Device & Group views: These panels let you view and edit the currently selected device or group‘s
settings. Various tabs provide access to all parameters of the devices and groups. The Meterbridge,
which shows the key parameters of all devices on the network at a glance, is also found here.
