1. GENERAL
A) Before the installation and the start-up of the pump, please carefully read the technical
instructions and consider all safety instructions.
B) The installation and start-up of the pump must be done in accordance with the local
regulations and standards. The pump can only be serviced, installed and maintained by
professionally qualified personnel. Disregard of the safety instructions can cause injuries to
persons and products, and can incur a loss of the right to compensation for damages.
C) Centrifugal pumps of the abovementioned types are intended for the flow of medium in
warm water heating systems, air conditioning, and air circulation. They are implemented as
a single pump generator with equal operational speed. The maximum medium temperatures
are 120ºC, for shorter times of less than 30 min up to 140ºC, minimum temperature allowed
is 15ºC. Ambient temperatures are in dependence of medium temperature:
AT = 30ºC MT = 120ºC
AT = 40ºC MT = 110ºC
AT = 50ºC MT = 100ºC
AT = 60ºC MT = 90ºC
AT = 65ºC MT = 85ºC
D) Maximum pressure in the system at PN6 is 6 bar, and at PN10, 10 bar.
E) The pump must be properly installed, with the shaft of the electric motor in a horizontal
position.
F) When installed the piping system must be in a vertical position relevant to the electric
motor.
G) The minimum operating pressure during operation is dependent on the medium
temperature.
H) During transport, the plant must be completely filled with the medium and all air bleed out.
I) The electrical connection must only be done by an expert familiar with VDE and EU
regulations.
2. SAFETY
A) Instructions for work must always be on hand for the installation and maintenance personnel
i.e. for supervisors and the persons responsible for operating the pump. During interventions
on the pump, one must be attentive to the safety at work regulations and the warning signs:
- GENERAL DANGER (negligence can cause injury of user)
- DANGER OF ELECTRICITY (negligence can cause electric shock of user)
