5.4.2 DriveServer selection
Since a network environment can comprise several DriveServers (OPC servers), the DriveServer to be
configured is to be selected first.
1. Select
File W Choose OPC server to open the dialog box Choose OPC server :
2. Use the input field Computer name to select a PC or use the button Network to select a PC
from the list.
– If the DriveServer configuration tool and DriveServer are installed on the same PC, the
presetting for “localhost” does not have to be changed.
3. Click the button Refresh to get a list of all DriveServers available on the PC.
4. Select the DriveServer to be configured from the list field and press OK.
