Intended Use
Observe the instructions and operating conditions given in
this operating manual and the admissible data as specifi ed
in the “Technical Data” of this manual and on the rating plate so that
the device functions correctly and Remains serviceable in the long
term.
Failure to observe this information and unauthorised inference with
the device releases us from all liability and voids the guarantees
applicable to the devices and accessories!
The device serves exclusively as a 3/2-way, 5/2-way or 5/3-way
solenoid valve for the admissible media specifi ed in this manual. Use
in any other way does not constitute an intended use.
Bürkert accepts no liability for any damage or injury resulting from
such use. The user bears all risks.
WARNING!
When planning the applications for device and
during operation, observe the relevant generally
acknowledged safety engineering rules. Take suita-
ble measures to prevent unintentional operation or
inadmissible damage.
Note that lines and valves must not be loosened on
pressurised systems. Always switch off the power
before opening the system!
DANGER!
Work on the valve may only be carried out by
specialist personnel using appropriate tools!
DANGER!
Ensure that the gasket is fi tted correctly when scre-
wing the coil into the device plug socket!
WARNING!
A jammed core will cause overheating of the coil
when operating with alternating current (AC)!
WARNING!
Risk of injury! The coil may become very hot during
continuous operation.
