Step 8: Checking that the Private Mailbox is working
From any internal telephone:
Call the internal number you have allocated to the Private Mailbox (in the example: 41) from
any internal subscriber. After a brief interval, Voicemail Center 461.2 answers the call and
plays the OGM you have recorded for the Private Mailbox. You can record a test message
after the tone. Then end the call.

A green LED next to the Func-
tion key flashes, to signal that
Voicemail Center 461.2 has
recorded a new ICM for the
subscriber.

Press the Function key you have set up as
„VoiceMail Center: defined“ (see
page 48
ff.) to initialise playback of ICMs.
A
Lift the receiver.
You are connected to Voicemail
Center 461.2 (red LED next to
Function key is on). All new
ICMs are played back.

Replace the receiver.
