counting pulses.

Example In the case of a length measurement by means of encoder and
cyclometer, the circumference of the cyclometer measures 200
mm and the encoder supplies 500 pulses per revolution. The mea-
surement is to be displayed in mm. The scaling factor is calculated
as follows:
