Congratulations for the purchase of this high-quality instrument from Dr. Lange. LCM plus is a

modern and sophisticated instrument for your lab. LCM plus includes state-of-the-art technology

and a very efficient user surface for easy familiarization. Still we recommend to read these

operating instructions thoroughly, as they give important information you should know to handle

this product adequately.

Concise Operating Instructions

5) Connect LCM plus and printer LD500, if desired, to the mains.

Then plug the printer cable that came with the printer into the
RS232-port of LCM plus. Turn LCM plus on by pressing key
OK and the printer by toggling the green switch to the right.

6) After zero measurement wait for the display of LCM plus to

prompt you to insert the calibration cuvette.

7) Fill a cuvette with distilled water and put it into the cuvette

compartment. The display reads e.g.:

8) Take the water cuvette out and put one containing sample

liquid into the cuvette compartment.

After measuring, the colour values of the sample are
indicated in the configured colour system.

Now press the -key until the desired colour system is
displayed.
