The successful assignation of the selected user band can be confirmed with the level/quality
display (toward the bottom of the on-screen display) for the adjusted test transponder. After
exiting the menu, programs can now be selected via the TechniRouter for the received satellite
position as with conventional receiving equipment. The user band assignment for this receiving
device is now completed.
When restarting the receiver, the SCR mode is activated from the beginning on.

4.6.3 Traffic-Indicator

The traffic indicator helps to inform you about errors.

Green LED:

illuminated: At least one receiver is delivering the operating voltage.

off:

Short circuit or overload via this output cable.

Red LED, flashes, when triggered by the receiver:

flashing irregularly:

At least one subscriber is changing the program
(normal status).

flashing regularly:

At least one receiver has not found any program.

illuminated continuously:

The LNB type for at least one of the receivers is set up
incorrectly.

Further hints:

Each available channel frequency can only be assigned to one receiver at all times.

Within a single residence (but only there), however, with time-delayed operation and
reciprocal arrangement, the same receiving channel can be assigned to two receivers.

Please remain patient during the set-up process, since certain receivers are very slow.

After dis- and reconnecting the subscriber line to the TechniRouter or after a power
failure, it may take some considerable time until the final receiver has been able to
relocate the program last set. In this case, a single program change at one of the active
receivers may help.

Please terminate the terminal socket during periods of non-use with a DC decoupled
75

Ω resistor.

Ensure amplification towards the TechniRouter (with an intermediate amplifier 5Z/NT
respectively 5Z2/NT or, based on topology, with an active splitter 5/2A) or, if necessary, at
the output of the socket

-

if there are extended lengths of cable (over 70 m in total) to the subscriber,

-

when there are many sockets connected in series,

-

for old cables,

-

when using a very small satellite dish.

You will find further information in regards to the satellite channel routing

concept in chapter 7.
