CAUTION Supply voltage 24 V DC +/- 10 %, max. residual ripple 10 %. Do not use rectifier-generated
direct voltage!
The device is protected by an exchangeable 2.5-A fuse.
Basic Settings
After the electrical installation, the following steps must be taken to start up the device successfully:
Parametering
In the parametering menu, time-outs and settling time for the conveyance can be adjusted. The conveying air
temperature must be saved under T2 if no temperature transmitter has been connected.
The menu is protected by a code; the default code is 9999.
Recipe Configuration
The Type 4040 device serves several recipes. In the configuration menu, a description of the product, the
feed way and the lock can be saved for each recipe number. This facilitates operation if many recipes are
used. The configuration menu is also protected by the default code 9999.
For each recipe, the conveyance speed, empty-run speed and ramping time until these final values are rea-
ched can be individually adjusted.
For the flow calculation, the pipe diameter (diameter before and after the lock in mm), and the key data for
the valve, consisting of the kv value (in m
3 /h) and the maximal lift (in %) must be entered independently of the
recipe.
