2. Safety
The skilled electrical personnel have been specifically trained for the work
environment they are working in and know the relevant standards and regula-
tions.
The skilled electrical personnel must comply with current legal accident
prevention regulations.
2.3 Special hazards
DANGER!
Danger of death caused by electric current
Upon contact with live parts, there is a direct danger of death.
The instrument may only be installed and mounted by skilled
personnel.
WARNING!
Do not use this instrument in safety or Emergency Stop
devices. Incorrect use of the instrument can result in injury or
material damage.
This instrument has been designed and tested in accordance
with the relevant safety regulations for electronic measuring
instruments.
The trouble-free operation and reliability of the instrument can
only be guaranteed if the general safety measures and the
instrument-specific safety instructions given in this manual are
followed.
WARNING!
■ Observe the working conditions in accordance with chapter
3 "Specifications".
■ Prior to opening the instrument, disconnect it from the power
supply. Take care that, in fitting the instrument and connec-
tions, all components are protected against direct contact.
■ Observe standard regulations and safety rules for electrical,
low-power and high-power systems, especially any country-
specific safety regulations (for example VDE 0100).
